We are 16 years old students from the 3rd class of SGJ in Lubin. This website is created to show the results of our school term IT work with mr. Zdzisław Pólkowski. We would like to admit, that it was not so easily as it seems to be, but the final effect is satisfactory. We focused on a database. It is a structured collection of records or data that is stored in a computer system. The structure is achieved by organizing the data according to a database model. First step was mail merge. It is a software function describing the production of multiple (and potentially large numbers of) documents from a single template form and a structured data source. This helps to create personalized letters and pre-addressed envelopes or mailing labels for mass mailings from a word processing document which contains fixed text, which will be the same in each output document, and variables, which act as placeholders that are replaced by text from the data source. So at he beginning we had to create data and that put it in a database and see if it all works correctly. Well, it was quite difficult, but we guess, the result is impressive, considering the fact, that it was our first serious meeting with Microsoft Access. And of course you can find it on our website.
